It Doesn't Sound Like WWE Is Pushing For A Women's Match At The CROWN JEWEL PPV

The last time WWE was in Saudi Arabia, they tried to get the Saudi Arabian government to agree to a women's match. Unfortunately, heading into this year's Crown Jewel, it doesn't sound like things will change.

WWE returns to Saudi Arabia on October 31st for Crown Jewel but it doesn't sound like we'll see any women on the card. Natalya and Alexa Bliss were flown over for Super ShowDown earlier this year in hopes of coming to some sort of compromise with the Saudi Arabian government.

Unfortunately, they just wouldn't get behind the idea because of their culture and now Dave Meltzer has claimed on Twitter that there are no women's matches scheduled at all for the show this time.

"Unless something changes, there are no women’s matches scheduled," he reveals. "It came down to the wire last time and they were told no at the end, after bringing Nattie and Alexa to Saudi Arabia." Ultimately, it sounds like WWE knows that this won't happen so there's no point fighting for it any more.

That's a shame as is the fact they haven't moved forward with another Evolution PPV to make up for it this year! As always, stay tuned for details as we have them!
