Despite finding great success in NXT, it's not been an easy ride for Aleister Black on the main roster. After what felt like a series of endless backstage promos, Black has received a lot of stop and start pushes, but things started looking up for him when Paul Heyman because RAW's Executive Director.

Unfortunately, in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Seth Rollins' Curb Stomp and post-match attack on Black during last week's RAW was written as an injury angle, but isn't covering up for some sort of real-life issue. Instead, he's just being taken off television for a whole as Vince McMahon has given up on him and WWE Creative has no plans moving forward.

Last year, it was reported that the WWE Chairman isn't a fan of Black's, but that he was willing to see if Heyman could get him over as a top star.

Now, as the Observer notes, with Heyman no longer in charge, it's highly unlikely that Black is going to get a push of any sort. Other Superstars the former RAW Executive Director was high on include Shayna Baszler, The Viking Raiders, and The Street Profits, so it will be interested seeing what becomes of them.

We'll be sure to keep you guys updated.
