It Sounds Like WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE Tag Team The Colóns May Be On The Way Out Of WWE

Primo and Epico Colón have gone through a number of gimmicks in WWE but it sounds like the WWE SmackDown Live Superstars may have had enough and are ready to move on from constantly being put on the undercard.

Primo and Epico Colón have been in WWE for the past five or six years now and have recently gone through a variety of gimmicks. There was Los Matadores (the name says it all) and then The Shining Stars, a team whose primary focus appeared to be selling time shares in Peurto Rico to their opponents.

Both of those didn't really go anywhere, and while they've now been rebranded as "The Colóns" since arriving on SmackDown Live, that too hasn't really done a whole lot to help them rise up the ranks of the tag team division. As a result, it probably won't surprise you to learn that there's a new rumour doing the rounds which
claims that they've asked for their release from WWE.

Apparently, they're hoping to make their return to Puerto Rico to wrestle for WWC, a promotion owned by, you guessed it, the Colón family.

Before you write this one off,
an Orlando Colón Pro Wrestling Tees store has suddenly popped up and WWC's official Twitter account has even Retweeted the rumour. You also can't blame Primo and Epico for wanting to head elsewhere as they've not been treated seriously for some time now and likely want a change of scenery! As always, we'll keep you guys updated!
