Jey Uso Shares His Thoughts On The Bloodline's Evolution And No Longer Being On SMACKDOWN

Jey Uso has broken his silence on SmackDown's all-new Bloodline, admitting he's keen to be involved in an eventual "civil war." He also reflects on learning from The Rock during his latest run in WWE...

At WrestleMania XL, Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. We haven't seen the Head of the Table since, leading to Solo Sikoa taking charge of The Bloodline on SmackDown

He claims to have done so on Roman's orders, though the addition of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa has raised eyebrows (as has the fact Solo decided to lay waste to Jimmy Uso after he failed to defeat Jey at the Show of Shows).

Talking to Mail Online, Jey shared his take on The Bloodline's evolution and what might come next.

"I'm glad I'm not on Fridays no more," the King of the Ring hopeful joked. "It's so much family drama. I'm just tired. I'd rather just get a new family."

"Family fight all the time. My answer would be yeah, I would like to run a babyface Bloodline back, let alone against Solo Sikoa, and now it's Tama Tonga and whoever else he wants to bring in," Uso added on a more serious note. "But I think the people would really dig seeing a civil war."

"There are so many other family members that people don't even know about yet. They're just waiting to kick the door in. We've got cousins who are 10 years old. We'll be running WWE for another 50 years."

It feels like WWE is building to The Rock's Bloodline battling Reigns' version. If that happens, we'd bet on the Final Boss joining forces with Solo, Tama and Tonga, while the Tribal Chief enlists The Usos and perhaps the yet-to-debut Jacob Fatu.

Talking about getting to share the Grandest Stage of Them All with The Rock, Jey added, "It was cool. Just being around him, seeing how much of a huge star is in front of the people out there, in front of a live crowd, that's a different energy."

"I thought I bought the energy. But I'm always learning or just trying to take bits from him. Ball it up and make it your own. I want to get to that level for sure."

WWE has yet to confirm when Reigns will return, though we'd expect him to be back in time for SummerSlam. As for The Rock, he's returned to Hollywood and the prevailing theory right now is he won't step back into the ring until WrestleMania 41 next April.

As always, keep checking back here for updates as we have them.
