John Cena Has Been Added To The CROWN JEWEL World Cup...Without Actually Having To Qualify

John Cena made a brief return at Super Show-Down this weekend and didn't take a single bump and it was revealed on last night's RAW that he's automatically been entered into the Crown Jewel World Cup.

Despite teaming up with Bobby Lashley to take on Kevin Owens and Elias at Super Show-Down on Saturday, John Cena saw very little in the way of in-ring action. Instead, he hit a handful of moves on Elias to pick up the win, all without taking any bumps. That's because he's busy shooting a movie in China with Jackie Chan and movie studios would not be happy with him getting injured in any way.

During last night's episode of RAW, Michael Cole revealed that because of Cena's many accomplishments in WWE, he's been added to the Crown Jewel World Cup without having to actually qualify.

Now, he joins a field which includes Kurt Angle and four Superstars from RAW and SmackDown Live who will be revealed over the coming weeks. How the tournament will work still isn't clear but plenty of big stars will be included as we know that Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy, The Big Show, and Randy Orton will all be squaring off during tonight's episode of SmackDown Live. Stay tuned for updates.
