Keith Lee Has FINALLY Broken His Silence Following Mysterious WWE TV Absence: "I Miss You Guys"

Keith Lee was expected to be a big deal on the main roster, but he's another call up who wasn't exactly booked particularly effectively. Now, following a lengthy absence from TV, he's broken his silence.

Keith Lee made a huge impact in NXT, and was expected to be pushed as a big star on the main roster. Unfortunately, his move to RAW last summer delivered a string of disappointments, and for reasons which still aren't entirely clear, his ring attire received a goofy overhaul (as did his previously awesome, and now thoroughly generic, entrance music).

It felt like Vince McMahon was trying to recreate Lee in his image, but Lee has been M.I.A. since February. He was supposed to win the United States Championship that month but is thought to be dealing with an unspecified injury.

Lee is clearly impatient to return to the squared circle and has finally broken his silence.

"I miss you guys, as well as all the others that expressed this sentiment...whether in DMs, tweets, or comments," he says in The Tweet below. "I miss you all. But do not fret. I will fight like no other to return...and when I do, we got a LOT of ground to cover."

It's worth noting that Lee did appear on the NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver "Watch Along" with Drew McIntyre, so he clearly hasn't fallen out with the company.

Instead, it seems Lee is just anxious to recover whatever this mysterious injury is...
