Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were the best of friends before the former betrayed the NXT Champion and their feud has lasted well into their respective main roster runs. While the signs are pointing to the duo fighting forever, they did manage to put their differences aside for one night at least during a WWE Live Event in their home of Montreal in Canada.

While WWE Hall of Famer Pat Pattison tried to intervene in Jinder Mahal and the Singh Brothers' beatdown of Zayn, it was Owens who unexpectedly made the save. The two stared each other down before teaming up for a Helluva Kick/Pop Up Powerbomb combo. That has all the makings of a great finisher if these two ever put their differences aside on WWE TV.

Owens left the ring without so much as a handshake and while this was probably a one night only sort of deal, it's interesting to wonder whether or not WWE may have been using this as a way of testing the waters for a possible tag team run for the duo. That would make for entertaining viewing but we're going to have to wait and see for the time being. Fingers crossed!
