After becoming a YouTube megastar, Logan Paul has gone on to make a name for himself in the sporting realm. He's had four career fights in boxing (two of which were professional bouts) and recently picked up a controversial win over MMA fighter Dillon Dannis by DQ.
That marked his first victory, but he's looking to go out on a high and has now confirmed he'll focus on being a full-time pro wrestler with WWE moving forward.
"Yeah, I think I've retired from boxing," he told Fox Business, later adding, "There's no more money in boxing. Every company's going broke. So full-time wrestler."
Paul defeated WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudia Arabia and, during an appearance on his brother Jake Paul's YouTube channel, he shared a piece of advice Triple H gave him about looking after his newly won title.
"I just took a shower with this belt on, I ran a 5k earlier with this belt on. This belt never leaves my waist...this belt means everything to me," he said. "WWE did say that I can't f**k in the belt. I swear, Triple H came up to me and he said, 'Logan, congratulations, but one thing we've been really cautious about here in the organization is making sure our athletes are not f*****g in their belts, so if you could just refrain from f*****g in your belt' and I gave him my word."
"Next thing you know, I'm clapping cheeks in this 40-pound piece of metal."
TMI?
Regardless, Paul has proven himself a legitimate talent in WWE, impressing even his biggest detractors in matches against wrestlers like Seth Rollins and Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
How often he'll appear on TV is unclear, though it doesn't look like he'll be working Survivor Series next month. That's a shame as WWE doesn't exactly need another part-time champion; still, there's no denying that he can lend the United States title some major star power and make it a bigger deal than it currently is.
