Vince McMahon decided to rewrite Tuesday night's episode of SmackDown Live just hours before it went on the air. Now, it's said that he was still working on the second hour while the first was airing on television and Vince reportedly didn't feel like the show presented to him was a good enough follow-up to the previous week.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also notes that Vince didn't feel like it delivered in terms of effectively building to SummerSlam

The site adds that Executive Director Eric Bischoff is indeed working on the show these days but he still isn't really taking on a role in creative as he's busy learning the ropes elsewhere. Apparently, only Daniel Bryan, Shane McMahon, and Kevin Owens get to pitch their ideas to WWE's writers so their segments are usually made up of their own ideas.

Do you think this week's SmackDown Live was a good show or a complete mess?
