There's been some uncertainty surrounding Becky Lynch's WWE future for several months. We last saw "The Man" at the end of May when she failed to regain the Women's World Championship from Liv Morgan in a Steel Cage after losing it the week before.
There have since been rumblings about her returning with a new gimmick, though rumour has it Lynch has been a free agent since June. Despite that, she was recently on hand for a WWE event at Netflix headquarters and also appeared in a promo for RAW's upcoming debut on the streamer.
Many fans took that as confirmation she'll be back as soon as Monday night and, honestly, it feels like a safe bet given her presence in this teaser. After all, there's surely no way WWE would hype up an unsigned talent for its biggest show of the year.
Today, @WrestleVotes is reporting that, "Sources confirm Becky Lynch’s impending return will factor heavily into high-level WrestleMania plans as the road to Las Vegas begins."
We don't know who she'll be feuding with but as the only female wrestler given her own subheading on Netflix, we're not exactly shocked to learn that Lynch will continue being pushed as a top star upon her WWE return.
"I don’t know the answer to these questions, I genuinely don’t," Lynch previously said of her future beyond wrestling. "I’m being so vague, and I don’t mean to be in any way cagey, but I feel like I have a great mind for wrestling and a great love for it. And so, it’s always going to be there in my heart and in my head. It’s part of my family."
"It’s the reason I have my family, so it’s so important to me. I just don’t know what that looks like in the future."
"I genuinely don’t have any answers for you because I don’t know. Life continues to surprise me in wonderful ways recently. You can make all of these plans, and sometimes they don’t go the way that that that you intended," she added. "But in the long run, something works out and something becomes better than you would’ve expected. And I feel like that’s been my whole run."
