Preview & Predictions for TNA Emergence 2025:
On tap for tonight's event, Trick Williams defends the TNA World Championship against Moose. I had said before that I thought Moose was a viable option to dethrone Williams, but cutting straight to him this early after Joe Hendry and Mike Santana lost has me suspicious. Right before Bound for Glory? I just don't think so. I'd imagine Williams retains, even if he ends up having another match with Moose there. But he drops it at BFG to whomever he fights, instead of losing it on a TNA+ monthly special.
I would be very shocked if Leon Slater already drops the X Division Championship to Cedric Alexander after all the fuss made over Slater at Slammiversary.
For that matter, I don't think Steve Maclin is losing the International Championship, nor is it a chance The Hardys will lose the tag titles considering the big match to come against Team 3D.
The Elegance Brand could lose the Knockouts Tag Team Championship to The IInspiration at least, or maybe even Fatal Influence, but I don't think Lee or Brookside walk out with the belts.
Mike Santana beats Sami Callihan (but that retirement angle could signal Callihan winning, somehow).
Ryan Nemeth loses to The Home Town Man and I'd be surprised if Indi Hartwell lost to Rosemary as I expect Indi to be a future challenger for Jacy Jayne. Maybe I'm wrong. Let's find out!
TNA Emergence 2025 Results:
- [Pre-Show] Indi Hartwell defeated Rosemary by pinfall.
- [Pre-Show] The Home Town Man defeated Ryan Nemeth by pinfall.
- Singles Match for the TNA X Division Championship: Leon Slater (c) defeated Cedric Alexander
- Matt Cardona defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall. Following the match, Order 4 went on the attack. The System backed up Cardona, and since they were in the ring already, that led into the next match.
- First Class (AJ Francis & Rich Swann) defeated The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards) by pinfall.
- Sami Callihan cut a promo before his scheduled match, calling attention to some friends in the crowd and reiterating the stipulation that if he loses, he will retire. He then suggested his match with Mike Santana should be a Baltimore Street Fight.
- Baltimore Street Fight: Mike Santana defeated Sami Callihan by pinfall. After the match, Callihan left his boots in the ring (following Santana showing some respect). Then, people were clapping for Callihan backstage, when Eric Young got in Joe Hendry's face and blamed all of this on him.
- Ryan Nemeth had a quick backstage promo-to-camera about how he and Nic Nemeth are going to win back their tag team titles.
- Léi Yǐng Lee was presented with a new contract by Tommy Dreamer and Carlos Silva praised her journey to get to this point, putting her over as someone they're looking forward to keeping for the future.
- Four-Way Tag Team Match for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance and Heather by Elegance) (with M by Elegance and The Personal Concierge) (c) retained over The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay), Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx) (with Jacy Jayne) and Léi Yǐng Lee and Xia Brookside
- Indi Hartwell and Dani Luna had a quick backstage promo. Hartwell wants the Knockouts World Championship. There was some tension with Luna (who talked about how great of a team they make and how she helped out against Rosemary earlier), but Hartwell said she wants to win that belt on her own.
- No Disqualification, No Count-Out Match for the TNA International Championship: Steve Maclin (c) defeated Jake Something. Frankie Kazarian was on commentary and had a confrontation with Maclin after the match. Maclin was down for a fight, but Kazarian walked off.
- Tag Team Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Hardys (Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy) (c) defeated The Rascalz (Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed) by pinfall.
- Singles Match for the TNA World Championship: Trick Williams (c) retained over Moose by pinfall.
