Newly Engaged WWE SMACKDOWN LIVE Superstar Nikki Bella Won't Be Returning For A Long Time To Come

During this past Sunday's WrestleMania, John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella following their match with The Miz and Maryse. We've known for a while that this would be coming and that the real-life couple would be taking some time off from the company after the event, but it sounds like we can expect to see Nikki out of action for the foreseeable future.

As you can see in the Tweets below, she's made it clear that she needs some time off (the former Divas Champion has been dealing with a nagging neck injury for a long time), but indicates that the door is open to a return somewhere down the line. The fact she mentions coming back with Brie points to Nikki taking years off rather than months, especially as she's due to give birth any day now and is unlikely to consider returning to WWE for a while.

Now that John and Nikka are getting married it's feasible that she too will want to have children, so who knows what the future holds in store for her! We'll no doubt be able to keep up with both her and Brie on Total Bellas and Total Divas, so it's not like she'll be vanishing from our screens for too long!
