NXT Could Soon Become A Two Hour Show Like SMACKDOWN LIVE

It sounds like some big changes could be coming to NXT as a new report claims that there are people in WWE who would like to see the show's running time extended. Oh, and TakeOver PPVs aren't safe either!

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are people in WWE who are now pushing hard for changes to be made to NXT's weekly TV show. Apparently, they would like to see it extended to two hours, while the popular two-hour TakeOver shows would also be given lengthier running times. Why? Well, it all boils down to the brand's stacked roster.

Right now, NXT not only has a wealth of talent that's TV-ready but they're also constantly signing up new Superstars, many of whom are stuck in the Performance Center waiting to be called to
TV.

It's not clear just how much consideration is being given to this but this would obviously be a divisive move among fans as the current format is praised. A two-hour show wouldn't be the end of the world but three hour PPV might be rejected and it could ultimately have an impact on the quality of the matches. What do you guys think?
