NXT Superstar Finn Balor Could Be Returning To WWE's Main Roster Sooner Than We Expected

Finn Balor's feud with Karrion Kross ended on Tuesday night's episode of NXT when he lost to the current NXT Champion. The Prince held the title until last month's NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, and it feels like his stint in the brand may have finally reached its end after an undeniably impressive run.

Balor has said in interviews that he'd like to be part of RAW and SmackDown again, and it sounds like that could be happening sooner rather than later.

As you can see, the WrestleVotes Twitter account notes that, "I’m told members of the RAW creative team have asked for him for months now. No edict has come down from the top yet yanking him from Orlando. The NXT crew adores Balor so unless the main roster has major plans for him, I’d think he’s OK where he is."

Nothing is set in stone, but it does feel like the door is finally open for Balor to return to the main roster.

That could lead to a lot of exciting matches, with the prospect of this iteration of the first-time Universal Champion squaring off with the likes of Bobby Lashley, Drew McIntyre, and Roman Reigns an undeniably exciting one.

Keep checking back for updates as we're sure plans for Balor will become clear soon...
