On the May 29th edition of RAW, we learned that Jason Jordan is the illegitimate son of Kurt Angle. That's not really the case, of course, but it's a storyline WWE is forging ahead with and fans have been left wondering what direction it will ultimately take. Is a new version of Team Angle going to be created? Will Jordan turn heel? We don't know but Angle seems to be enjoying the storyline.
"I think Jason has a lot of potential," he revealed. "I think he's going to be one of the more popular superstars down the road. He has a little bit of work to do – he's a little bit shy – but as far as far as his athleticism, he's one of the best we've got here. And I think this storyline is going to help him. Now, we haven't really gritted down and gotten into the storyline, yet, but it's going to happen eventually."
However, if you're expecting Angle to return to the ring to square off with Jordan personally, it sounds like that's not something which is on the cards for the WWE Hall of Famer. Not yet, at least!
"We've talked about it," Angle revealed, "but, I haven't taken the physical yet. Really? I don't know – I don't know when, or if, I'm going to. My guess is, I will – but I'm going to sit, and wait, and be patient, and see how it all plays out." It's hard to imagine him not returning to the squared circle one day but for now, he seems content being RAW's General Manager!
