Ratings for this Monday's episode of RAW dropped slightly from the previous week. According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew a total of 1.735 million viewers on the USA Network, a small dip from last Monday's 1.757 million viewers. In terms of the 18 - 49 demographics, hour one did 0.52, hour two did a 0.50, and hour three also scraped a 0.50.
In terms of viewership, hour one received 1.806 million viewers, hour two dropped to 1.673 million viewers, and the third and final hour actually increased to 1.726 million viewers.
This was a Memorial Day edition of RAW, and the first to feature wrestling posing as "fans" in attendance. It seems as if decreasing ratings are the new norm for WWE, and 2 million viewers now seems like a distant memory. Moving forward, 1.500 million viewers could end up being where the show lands, and that could have a big impact on the company's TV deals.
For what it's worth, this week's RAW was a busy episode which continued setting the stage for the Backlash PPV, but there clearly wasn't enough in there to really entice viewers.
