We haven't seen Roman Reigns since he pulled out of his Universal Championship match with Goldberg at WrestleMania, and there's a lot of speculation that WWE (ie, Vince McMahon) isn't too happy about the former WWE Champion's decision to stay away from the televised shows.
We may never know if there's any truth to this (there is certainly evidence to back it up), but The Big Dog has no intention of coming back to work while the COVID-19 pandemic still poses a threat to his family.
While speaking to TMZ, Reigns revealed that he's less concerned about his own health as he is the well-being of his 8-week-old twin sons.
"I wanna be out there, I wanna get back to work, I wanna get back to normal, but I just feel like I have an obligation not only to my family and myself but to my community," said Roman. "A lot of people ... they think that it was based off of my heath and the history of my fight against leukemia. Talking to my doctors and stuff, I actually am fine and my immune system is good."
No rational, clear-thinking person could possibly criticize or hold anything against Reigns for this decision, but then, he doesn't have to answer to a rational, clear-thinking person.
Roman is still not sure when he'll return to the ring, but while we hope he sticks to his guns and stays at home until it's safe - actually safe - for him to do otherwise.
