Roman Reigns Continues To Push The Narrative That He's Already A Heel Because People Boo Him
During a new interview, Roman Reigns was once again grilled about the possibility of the powers that be turning him heel, and once again gave the same answer. Find out what The Big Dog had to say here...
Any time Roman Reigns does an interview, he'll inevitably be asked about this mythical heel turn that every fan - and most other wrestlers, for that matter - want to see happen, and he will inevitably give the same answer every time.
While chatting with ESPN.com, The Big Dog once again pushed the narrative that he already is a bad guy:
“It’s a weird question because aren’t I already a heel? If I garner that reaction, what’s the point? It’s already happening. If I’m already being booed, then why try to get booed? I have a great opportunity — because I’m a gray-area guy — to do a little bit of everything. I’m in a good place to do whatever I want and just play with this character and not just be a heel or a face — I feel my character can be so much more than that.”
Roman, people booing you doesn't make you a heel - they're not on your case because your character does heinous, villainous stuff to babyfaces, it's because they don't like how that character is being promoted. That's a completely different kind of heat.
Of course, Reigns knows this - but I guess we can't expect him to turn around and say, "yeah, you're right, I should be spearing Daniel Bryan through shit every week."
