Roman Reigns Finally Ditched The Shield's Old Theme And Debuted New Entrance Music On SMACKDOWN

Seth Rollins was responsible for The Shield breaking up, and after a few weeks of walking out to silence, he later received a new entrance theme. Dean Ambrose (now Jon Moxley in All Elite Wrestling) did as well, but Roman Reigns was left with a slightly altered version of The Shield's music.

As WWE was looking to push him as a top babyface, the hope was likely that The Shield's theme would help with that; now, though, The Big Dog is kicking ass on SmackDown as the heel Head of the Table.

During last night's episode, Reigns finally debuted some new entrance music ahead of his Universal Championship match with Daniel Bryan.

Now, it feels like he's finally moved on from being part of The Shield, and it's said that WWE has been waiting a number of months to debut this music. Updating his appearance with no shirt and this theme all ties into the company's plans to portray Reigns in the same vein as major stars like John Cena, Hulk Hogan, and Stone Cold Steve Austin.

It's a bit much, but such a massive improvement. Ditching the vest, getting slimmer pants and finally a new entrance music, it's incredible WWE finally got it right.
