After testing positive for COVID-19 last week, Roman Reigns returned to SmackDown last night and kicked the show off by making it clear he never wants to new WWE Champion Brock Lesnar or his advocate Paul Heyman ever again. With that, The Beast's music hit and he pushed the Head of the Table's buttons before challenging him to a champion vs. champion match.

Reigns refused to do business with Heyman, and Paul E. was surprisingly upset by his former employer's rejection. That didn't sit well with Lesnar, and as he argued with Heyman, Reigns took the opportunity to take a cheap shot with a Superman Punch.

Later in the show, it was decided that a challenger would have to be found for Reigns at the Royal Rumble (Lesnar will defend against Bobby Lashley). It turned out that would be RAW Superstar Seth Rollins! Now, these former Shield brothers will square off at the PPV with the Universal title on the line.

Interestingly, after the show went off the air, Rollins took on the role of babyface while confronting the Usos. Could that be a sign of things to come? For now, we'll obviously have to wait and see!
