Roman Reigns Will Battle Braun Strowman At WWE PAYBACK In Two Weeks Time
There was no signs of Roman Reigns at RAW last night after he was decimated by Braun Strowman last Monday, but General Manager Kurt Angle announced that the two will come to blows at WWE Payback!
On last week's RAW, WWE aired one of the greatest segments of all-time when Braun Strowman went on a rampage and completely destroyed Roman Reigns in an attack which culminated with him flipping over an ambulance. The Samoan Superstar has since been shelved with a storyline injury which includes a separated shoulder and cracked ribs (amazingly, he's still alive).
As you can see in the video below, a boastful Strowman was confronted by RAW General Manager Kurt Angle last night and a match between the seemingly unstoppable monster and Reigns at WWE Payback in just two weeks time. There's currently no word on whether or not this will be a Stretcher or Ambulance match, but that is said to be a possibility.
Rumour has it that the current plan backstage is forStrowman to win this match so he can go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship this June. That will be a fun match to see, but in the meantime, it's going to be interesting watching how things play out here especially as Reigns is coming off a WrestleMania match which saw him retire The Undertaker.
