Earlier today, WWE announced another change to WrestleMania 36. This year, it will take place over two nights as Rob Gronkowski will host WrestleMania on both April 4th and April 5th.
No less than an hour after this announcement, Dave Meltzer tweeted that the event will also go down from more than one location, rather than just the WWE Performance Center, as previously indicated and advertised.
It's important to address that this is just a rumor until anything becomes official. While Meltzer has connections and a history of being a noteworthy news source, there is never any certainty to anything.
Not only could this have been bad information given to him, there's no guarantee this will happen even if that is the current plan. Each day dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic changes everything in ways we're not prepared for and WWE is not exempt from that chaos.
There is also no information as to what venues could host the show if this is indeed true. Perhaps one night can air at the WWE Performance Center while another could take place at Raymond James Stadium, both in front of no audience. Perhaps Full Sail University will be utilized in some fashion.
Update: Ryan Satin has also suggested the same report, giving more credibility to this story:
