The Royal Farms Arena In Baltimore Has Canceled The Upcoming WWE MONEY IN THE BANK PPV

The fate of next month's Money in the Bank PPV is very much up in the air for now as the arena where the show was set to take place has confirmed that it's no longer taking place as planned on May 10th...

With it becoming clear that the COVID-19 pandemic is going to be a global issue for most of 2020, WWE is having to act fast to come up with ways to make sure they're able to remain on television for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, it appears as if we can forget about seeing Money in the Bank as planned next month.

That was set to be the first major post-WrestleMania PPV, and WWE had scheduled it for May 10th in the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.

Well, that arena has now confirmed that the event is no longer taking place due to travel restrictions and health concerns as a result of the pandemic. Refunds are available at the point of purchase, and no mention was made of the show being scheduled for another date.

Common sense says that WWE will end up taping Money in the Bank in the empty WWE Performance Center unless officials in Orlando pull the plug on them. Alternatively, it's said that WWE has some sort of secret location where they're planned to tape future shows (likely their headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut).

WWE also recently postponed shows in the UK, including tapings of NXT UK and SmackDown which were set to take place there in May.
