Since Vince McMahon was temporarily ousted from WWE last year (and then permanently just last month), Paul "Triple H' Levesque has been in charge of WWE creative.
As a result, the quality of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT (which is overseen by his best friend, Shawn Michaels) has skyrocketed. Now, WWE is hotter than it's been in several years and the one night Vince returned - last year's RAW after WrestleMania - showed just how out of touch the disgraced executive is.
It was, after all, hailed as perhaps the worst RAW of all time.
Now, The Undertaker has shared his take on The Game being in charge of WWE during a recent edition of his podcast. "When I was working full time or even when I wasn't, it was just so chaotic," he recalled. "The Rumble itself is put together - it is a complicated deal, but there was always like this tendency last minute for things to get changed."
"It's just chaotic. People, I don't think, in other genres of entertainment, in the entertainment world, I would be interested to see how many people that act, or musicians could handle the stress of working like that."
It's no secret that McMahon would frequently tear up scripts on the day major shows were taking place, leading to often terrible television of baffling creative.
The WWE locker room as a whole has changed since The Undertaker was a regular fixture on WWE programming, of course, and he acknowledged that while discussing how the feeling backstage has evolved under Triple H's watch.
"I've seen him get worked up, but I haven't seen him yell at talent, I haven't seen him badmouth anybody," the Phenom stared. "It's almost too calm. It's like...they don't care enough...it's not that, it's just the atmosphere."
The days of "wrestler's court" and cruel ribs have become a thing of the past. While a veteran like The Undertaker likely wouldn't agree, we'd say that's for the best based on some of the reports we've heard of bullying and the impact that had on the mental health of wrestlers.
While the Deadman's time in the ring has ended, he remains under contract with WWE and has made sporadic appearances on TV. It's unlikely he'll ever compete in one more match, but we know better than to discount anything in the undeniably crazy world of pro wrestling.
