WrestleMania 40's Night 2 was headlined by Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Cody Rhodes. The Bloodline soon got involved in the match, but were fended off by the likes of Jey Uso, Seth Rollins, John Cena...and The Undertaker!
The latter dealt with The Rock by delivering a chokeslam to the Final Boss. It was an epic moment and one the Deadman addressed during a recent edition of his "Six Feet Under" podcast.
"[Sharing the ring with Dwayne Johnson] was fun. It was just like a little flashback. All my dealings with him that night [at WrestleMania 40], he was just so gracious," The Undertaker said. "I just sensed that he was just happy like being involved in that again. Obviously, he's one of the most, probably the biggest movie star out there, but you could just tell he was in his element."
"And he was so kind and gracious to everybody. Man, it was good to see. It was just, overall, what a great weekend."
The Rock, remaining in character, recently shared his own thoughts on X by posting, "The guy sure knows how to ruin a party. I’ll see you down the road, my friend. Paybacks a bitch for you - but fun for me."
All signs point to the Brahma Bull battling Cody Rhodes when he returns to WWE and, during an appearance on Good Morning Britain to hype up the company's latest European tour, the American Nightmare didn't shy away from making his thoughts on The Rock known.
"I think it'll really come down to, 'Can I be a good champion or a great champion?' Roman Reigns was a great champion, and will that be enough to entice The Rock? That's what happened here. Rock will tell you that he made wrestling cool again."
"Rock made wrestling cool maybe in the first place, but this run is a whole new generation, a whole new locker room," Rhodes added. "Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, myself, Rhea Ripley, all these people. I think the more we keep this, the better we do, the more chances it lures Rock back into the fray."
