The WWE Super Show-Down pay-per-view event will run for a maximum of five hours, according to the programming guide as it will run from 5am Eastern until 10am Eastern. Of course, the show length can change.

The glorified house show pay-per-view event takes place on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Melbourne, Australia and will air on the WWE Network. Both Raw and SmackDown brands will be featured.

For anyone wondering, the reasoning behind WWE running longer shows was revealed on an edition of Wrestling Observer Live, as Bryan Alvarez said:

“One of the corporate reasons for longer shows is because they love to go on [investor calls] and say ‘the WWE Network was viewed for more time this month.’ How do you make sure people are watching more WWE Network than ever? You make the shows longer. That’s what they’re doing.”

The show is officially set with ten matches on the card thus far. For Smackdown Live, the main event will see AJ Styles defend the WWE championship against Samoa Joe in a No Disqualification match. For RAW, the main event will feature the legendary Undertaker taking on Triple H in their final one-on-one encounter.
