Tomorrow's SMACKDOWN Hasn't Been Cancelled (Yet) But Could Move To The Performance Center

Following a leaked email which reportedly came from inside WWE headquarters, the company has issued a statement about tomorrow night's SmackDown. It was said that the show - which is set to take place in Detroit - had been cancelled because of the Coronavirus, and that WWE would instead hold the show in the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

"WWE has not cancelled Friday Night SmackDown in Detroit, however, based on the current situation, we are putting contingency plans in place in the event that upcoming WWE shows are cancelled by government officials, civil authorities and/or local venues," the statement reads.

As WWE alludes to, the only way SmackDown isn't happening is if the city of Detroit decides it's not in the best interest of the public to hold such a large gathering.

It would definitely be strange to see the show (which is also set to feature the return of John Cena) take place in such a small building, and the status of WrestleMania remains equally as hard to call right now; that too would presumably happen there depending on what happens over the coming weeks. We'll obviously keep you guys updated as we learn more!
