WWE has announced that Paul "Triple H" Levesque was hospitalised last week following what they're calling a "cardiac event." Apparently, it was a result of a "genetic heart issue," but he's had successful surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.
Unfortunately, this could bring an end to The Game's in-ring career, though it's rare he wrestles these days. The good news here is that he's on the mend, though it's likely going to be a while before he's able to return to work.
This comes at a time when NXT is undergoing major changes, though it's expected that Vince McMahon will be spearheading those, anyway.
The important thing is that the WWE Hall of Famer is getting better after successful surgery, and we certainly hope to hear directly from him soon. It's a surprise this news hasn't leaked sooner, but expect more to be revealed shortly now the dirt sheets have been made aware!
Needless to say, we're sending our warmest wishes to Triple H and his family as he continues to recover.
