On Monday afternoon, Cody Rhodes decided to "invade" RAW alongside The Bullet Club. Their appearance was a play on what DX did to WCW during the Attitude Era and Monday Night Wars but Vince McMahon did not see the funny side to them showing up outside the arena according to Bryan Alvarez and that's bound to hurt Cody's standing with the company moving forward.

He probably doesn't care, of course, especially as he recently signed a multi-year deal with Ring of Honor which takes the former Stardust off the table for quite some time regardless.

Interestingly, it sounds like things could have gone even further as Alvarez's co-host Mike Sempervive added that someone in WWE told him that, "There were tickets available, they could’ve
went all away with it and they chose not to." Security probably would have removed them before they had chance to be fair and Cody must at least be hopeful about a WWE return...one day!
