There have been rumours this might be the case for a while now, but during last night's Clash of Champions PPV, it was officially announced that the WWE Draft is set to return. It goes without saying that means there will be huge status quo shifts in store for both RAW and SmackDown (and potentially NXT).
The first night of the WWE Draft will take place on SmackDown on Friday, October 9th. The second, meanwhile, follows a couple of days later on RAW on Monday, October 12th.
We first heard about plans for another WWE Draft earlier this year, but it seems WWE is finally pulling the trigger on those plans. It's long overdue, especially as both shows are in desperate need of being freshened up. It's hard to predict who will end up where at this point, but this is a full-blown Draft and not a Superstar Shakeup.
Given how much RAW is struggling in terms of ratings, chances are Universal Champion Roman Reigns could be moved to that show, especially as his heel persona is over with fans in a big way.
