It's been confirmed today that the "season premiere" of RAW is now scheduled for the first week of October. It will air live on the USA Network on October 4 (according to Mat Men podcast's Andrew Zarian), and is going to be promoted as the 30th season premiere of WWE's longest-running show.
As a result of this change, the WWE Draft has also been postponed by a month.
While it was previously reported that it would begin on August 30 edition of RAW - wrapping up on the September 3 SmackDown on FOX - it now looks set to either take place across the October 1 and October 4 or October 4 and October 8 episodes (the latter arguably makes more sense).
Locations for both shows haven't been revealed as of yet, but WWE continues to release tickets for its upcoming shows, so we'll likely learn more about that soon.
Seeing as we've spent most of 2021 watching the same matches on RAW and SmackDown each week, a change to both rosters feels long overdue. This delay obviously means we'll be waiting that little bit longer for it to happen, though a month certainly isn't the end of the world when all is said and done.
As always, keep checking back here for updates as we have them!
