According to a new report from WrestlingNews.co, WWE is expected to make their plans clear for how they will bring fans back to RAW and SmackDown starting in late July. Social distancing will be put in place, and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon reportedly remains intent on being the "first" sport to welcome people back into arenas for future shows.
Ever since it was postponed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there's been no word on plans for the WWE Hall of Fame (which usually takes place before WrestleMania). Well, after Georgia Hart, the daughter of the legendary Davey Boy Smith, claimed on Twitter back in March that WWE had tentative plans to host the show during SummerSlam weekend, it's now said that it's still "very possible" that will happen.
Ultimately, it's going to depend on what happens over the coming weeks and months, but SummerSlam isn't cancelled as of right now, and the hope within WWE is that it won't have to be moved to the WWE Performance Center.
The inductees for the 2020 WWE Hall Of Fame are Dave Bautista, John Bradshaw Layfield, "The British Bulldog" Davey Boy Smith, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, The NWO (Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash and Sean Waltman), and The Bella Twins (Nikki and Brie Bella).
We'll keep you updated.
