WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray Was Full Of Praise For Randy Orton's Heel Promo On SMACKDOWN LIVE
Fans have been hoping to see a heel turn from The Viper for a long time, and this past Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, they most certainly got their wish. Find out what Bully Ray had to say about Orton's promo here.
This past Tuesday on SmackDown, Randy Orton made his way out to the ring and cut a very impressive promo to explain why he viciously attacked Jeff Hardy the week before. Though The Viper didn't really get into why he targeted Hardy specifically, he blamed the fans for his latest turn, calling them out for taking a Superstar with his pedigree for granted.
The promo garnered a lot of attention, as it's been some time since we've seen a real fire lit under The Legend Killer.
Former WWE tag-team champ and Hall of Famer Bully/Bubba Ray explained why he was so impressed by Randy's words on Busted Open Radio earlier this week.
"I enjoyed a variety of things on Smackdown last night, starting off with [Randy] Orton’s promo, which I think that he knocked it out of the park. I think he did a great job with it—it was a lot of things—it was the words that he was saying, and it was also the tone in his voice, the inflection in his voice and the way he delivered it.
Randy Orton believed everything he was saying last night. If you listened to the reaction of the people, there was a hush over the crowd. That hush wasn’t disinterested, that was ‘oh my God, Randy does sound pissed off, and he’s about to take out his frustrations on a lot of different people."
What did you guys think of the promo? Are you glad to see Randy Orton as a heel again? Sound off below.
