We're back with another WWE rumour roundup and will be kicking things off with an exciting update on where things stand with the injured Jade Cargill.
She was written off television after a storyline attack backstage and has been spotted at the WWE Performance Center for the second week in a row, according to PW Insider. The site adds that the attack was done to keep "[Cargill and Bianca Belair] strong while prepping their creative plans for WrestleMania, especially if it involves them working against each other."
Tyler Bate is another WWE Superstar close to being cleared for in-ring action after tearing his pec last summer. When he does come back, he's expected to be part of the RAW roster.
@WrestleVotes, meanwhile, confirms that WWE is aiming to have The Bloodline's Tonga Loa "back on TV around WrestleMania."
The insider also reveals that the company was unhappy with last year's WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, particularly with how much of the crowd decided to leave after Paul Heyman's acceptance speech. As a result, WWE is "trying to come up with different ways to present everything."
On to RAW on Netflix, and Fightful Select reveals that WWE has an idea of how long they want the show to be on the streamer. The premiere was over three hours, while this past Monday's show clocked in at less than two and a half hours.
The reason that latest effort was a little shorter was to allow talent time to get to the airport (dark matches took place for the live crowd when RAW went off the air). As for claims Penta has backstage heat due to his segment running long, that's not the case. However, time was cut from other promos and matches.
Finally, Vince McMahon. According to Dave Meltzer, "people very close" to the billionaire reveal that he's been told the criminal investigation by the Southern District of New York "is done." Vince is said to be "very relieved" and it's seen as "vindication in his mind."
McMahon is now looking to start a new entertainment company and "several ex-WWE people that were close to him that are working for him right now with the new company." However, this "secret" company reportedly has nothing to do with pro wrestling.
Of course, the biggest rumour this week is WWE's plans for new Women's Champion Tiffany Stratton at this year's WrestleMania. She's supposedly being lined up to face Charlotte Flair and you can read more about that here.
