It was recently revealed that UFC has been forced to indefinitely postpone upcoming shows, while it's no secret that All Elite Wrestling has taped at least several weeks of shows. That leaves WWE the only sports/entertainment company still running shows on a regular basis, but it seems they're finally taking some precautions if the plug is pulled on them by the government or television networks.
Now, it's being reported that WWE is in the process of taping content for at least the next several days in the WWE Performance Center in Orland, Florida.
According to PW Insider, WWE is hoping to have enough content to last them right through to when the Money in the Bank PPV is scheduled to take place on May 10th. It remains to be seen whether that will also be taped, but it would be very strange for it to not take place as planned, even if it isn't in front of an audience.
While WWE is taking precautions to keep Superstars safe, there is some concern about that, especially with travel restrictions and the fact the virus is so dangerous. Wrestlers in the area have reportedly been sequestered in a hotel, while those who live in the area have driven to the tapings.
WWE's actions are definitely questionable, but episodes of RAW, SmackDown, NXT, and 205 Live are all being taped in the coming days so they'll have enough to keep them going for a while.
