According to a new report from WrestlingNews.co, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair will soon be written off television. It's said that he was brought back in the hope that he could increase RAW's ratings as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon wanted as much star power as possible on Monday nights to counter declining viewership numbers.

However, after the go-home RAW ahead of Extreme Rules drew a record low number for WWE, it seems the Nature Boy hasn't made that much of an impact (if any).

It's said that everyone has been told to be careful while interacting with Flair to minimise any risks of him contracting COVID-19 due to his age and past health issues (which obviously make him a serious risk). Flair is reportedly happy with his new role as Randy Orton's manager, but he was told from the start that he was only ever being brought in on a temporary basis.

On tonight's RAW, Orton is set to face The Big Show in an unsanctioned match, and it's believed he will then move on to feud with WWE Champion Drew McIntyre to build to a match at the upcoming SummerSlam PPV.

We'll keep you guys updated with what happens to Flair after tonight's show.
