WWE May Have Inadvertently SPOILED Two Major Main Roster Callups In SURVIVOR SERIES Program

Survivor Series has become a show often remembered for some incredibly memorable debuts, including The Undertaker, The Rock, Kurt Angle, and The Shield.

There's still a great deal of chatter surrounding the possibility of CM Punk making his return at the PLE, but the official Survivor Series program may spoil two imminent main roster call-ups. The first is Gallus, an NXT UK/NXT faction comprised of Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang.

They're the only NXT team in the book, and that surely can't be a coincidence.

Even more intriguing, though, is the appearance of The Authors of Pain. They were released by WWE in 2020, a move which surprised fans when both men were receiving a push alongside Seth Rollins as part of his stable. Of course, that was derailed when Rezar suffered a torn biceps during a match on RAW; the decision was then taken to remove Akam from TV as WWE management decided it would be better to wait until they could be paired up again.

Unfortunately, they never got the chance and it marked the second time a push for The Authors of Pain failed to pan out. Shortly after arriving on the main roster - minus their NXT manager Paul Ellering - an ill-timed injury led to them quickly disappearing from TV.

During their WWE run, Akam and Rezar won the NXT and RAW Tag Team Championships and were crowned the winners of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic back in 2016. However, they were quietly re-signed by Triple H last year, though WWE has yet to acknowledge that in any way.

It seems plans are now in place for something to happen with both these teams, though it doesn't necessarily mean it will be at Survivor Series itself. Still, this bodes well for both Gallus and The Authors of Pain and would be of benefit to RAW which, in recent months, has featured a lot of familiar Judgement Day matches.

Keep checking back here this weekend for all the latest Survivor Series updates as we have them.
