Tonight's special Wednesday episode of WWE NXT (November 4, 2026) emanates from WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida and will air starting at 8 p.m. ET on The CW Network.
Results, match winners, promo segment notes and other major developments from NXT will be added below as the episode airs. NXT was moved from its usual Tuesday broadcast because of U.S. election coverage.

On tap for tonight's episode, NXT Champion Grayson Waller defends against CM Punk, who challenged the champion following Waller's victory over Tony D'Angelo at Halloween Havoc. I don't think we'll see a title change, but could you imagine?
NXT Women's Champion Kelani Jordan must defend her championship against an opponent from Raw or SmackDown whose identity has not yet been revealed. I also don't anticipate any kind of title change happening there, either.
The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic also concludes as Hank Walker and Tank Ledger battle Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno in the tournament final. Cody Rhodes will appear to present the winning team with the trophy. I've been shocked about some of those results throughout this tournament, but I'm going to guess Dar and Moreno win.
Cruz Montana and Dion Lennox settle their differences in an Unsanctioned Match, with UFC fighter Michael Chandler serving as the special enforcer. In addition, Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix face The Vanity Project's Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. I'm going with Montana and Gable/Lee/Fenix coming out on top.
John Cena is scheduled to make an appearance on NXT as well, with the John Cena Classic among the developments surrounding his return to WWE television.

- John Cena, Cody Rhodes, Kelani Jordan, Grayson Waller and CM Punk were shown arriving at the WWE Performance Center. Punk was also seen talking with Shawn Michaels before a recap of Halloween Havoc aired.
- Chad Gable, Dragon Lee and Rey Fenix defeated The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) by pinfall. Dragon Lee finished the match with Operation Dragon while Gable and Fenix kept the other members of The Vanity Project from breaking up the pinfall with submission holds.
- Backstage: CM Punk spoke with Shiloh Hill about his recent issues with Naraku and the mist. Hill asked Punk for the first championship opportunity if he defeated Grayson Waller. Waller interrupted and confronted Punk ahead of their match.
- NXT Women's Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) defeated Paige by pinfall to retain the title. Paige was revealed as Jordan's mystery challenger. Jordan targeted Paige's neck throughout the match, but Paige nearly won following the Ram-Paige. Jordan eventually countered another attempt into a roll-up to retain her championship.
- Backstage: Sol Ruca spoke with Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey before Izzi Dame revealed that she had sent Sol an invitation pretending to be Zaria. Sinclair confronted Dame over her recent treatment of Zaria, leading to an exchange of words.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Final: Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno defeated Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) by pinfall to win the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Hank's injured leg gave out while attempting a double-team maneuver, allowing Dar and Moreno to hit stereo Cross Rhodes followed by their finishing combination on Ledger. Cody Rhodes joined commentary for the match and presented the winners with the Dusty Cup afterward. Rhodes also announced that Dar and Moreno will challenge The Vanity Project (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) for the NXT Tag Team Championship next week.
- Unsanctioned Match: Cruz Montana defeated Dion Lennox by pinfall. Michael Chandler served as special guest referee. DarkState interfered on Lennox's behalf, but The 946 (Carmelo Hayes, Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, Lucien Price and Jaida Parker) arrived to fight them off. Montana powerbombed Lennox through a table at ringside and finished him with Spin the Block. The 946 stood tall together afterward.
- Promo (In-Ring): John Cena appeared to announce Zilla Fatu as the latest entrant in the John Cena Classic, scheduled for December 14. Cena spoke about his history with Fatu's family, including his father Umaga, and said he was honored to give Zilla the opportunity. Fatu thanked Cena, and the two embraced.
- A brief Tony D'Angelo vignette aired, showing him standing on a boat without speaking.
- Backstage: Kam Hendrix approached John Cena and assumed he would be included in the John Cena Classic. Cena told him to focus on his upcoming match against EK Prosper instead, which was announced for next week's NXT.
- NXT Championship: Grayson Waller (c) defeated CM Punk by pinfall to retain the title. Punk was preparing to hit the GTS when Kevin Owens appeared at ringside and climbed onto the apron. Security intervened, but the distraction allowed Waller to roll up Punk for the victory. Owens escaped through the crowd while Waller celebrated with his championship.
