WWE RAW Superstar Bayley Comments On The Possibility Of A Heel Turn At Some Point
Many fans assume that it'll only be a matter of time before Bayley turns heel, but The Huggable One seemingly dismisses this during a new interview. However, she does confirm a "more aggressive" side is coming.
After Bayley failed to channel her aggression during her recent feud with Alexa Bliss, there was speculation that the fan-favourite Superstar might turn heel and embrace her darker side.
Many fans doubled down on this theory when The Huggable One was injured and got a decidedly mixed response from the audience upon her return - however, it doesn't look like that heel turn is on the cards.. at least, not yet.
During an interview with Metro, Bayley was asked about the possibility of "going dark", responded with the following:
"It’s something I think about because I know anything is possible when you’re with WWE. I don’t know if I have to go to the dark side, although I do read all the tweets and I do know it’s what the fans are kinda hoping for. As a performer I need to change in the ring, to be a little bit more aggressive and go about things in a different way rather than Bayley following the rules all the time.
I might have to bend the rules a little bit to get what I want this time around. I realised when I was out with my injury that I need to go about things differently and not let people push me around so much."
A heel Bayley could certainly be an intriguing concept, but it's highly unlikely that WWE is going to be willing to alienate her legions of young fans and give us that all-important merchandise money in the process.
