WWE Releases The Commercial For RAW Which Saw Samoa Joe Suffer A Head Injury

Earlier this year, we learned that Samoa Joe had suffered a head injury while filming a commercial for WWE, and that's now been officially released (and seemingly features the moment he got that concussion).

Back in February, it was revealed that RAW Superstar Samoa Joe had suffered a head injury while shooting a commercial for WWE. That led to him being sidelined with a concussion, and he's since been suspended for 30 days following his first violation of WWE's Wellness Policy.

Well, WWE has now released that commercial, and it turns out that it features a number of WWE Superstars (including Ricochet, Becky Lynch, Andrade, Charlotte Flair, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley) promoting RAW on Monday nights as part of a "Must Be Monday" marketing campaign.

As you can see, WWE combines footage from recent episodes of the show with staged moments, and it's as Joe was being powerbombed through a table by The Authors of Pain that he hits his head (you can pretty much see it happen here).

There are no plans for the former United States Champion at WrestleMania, and while his suspension has lifted, we don't know what is likely to come next for The Destroyer. He's never really had much luck around this time of year, though, and being both injured and suspended before the Show of Shows could ensure that WWE doesn't consider pushing him again down the line.

Check out the commercial below:
