According to fans who were at the
RAW taping in Manchester, England, last Friday, Seth Rollins was heavily booed in the arena...and WWE subsequently edited them out. According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live,
"[The] Rollins segment was so heavily edited, they used crowd reactions from the October 28 Raw for the cutaways."
"Listen when I was watching that last night, Seth Rollins said something and they cut to a shot of the crowd cheering," he continued. "Then when they cut back to him, everyone was all of a sudden sitting down again. You can go back and watch it. He makes some comment and they cut to a shot of the crowd which looks totally different from the crowd when he’s doing the rest of his speech. Go back and watch it. I’m not making this up, I remember that."
Fans on social media have backed up these remarks, noting that Rollins' line about being the best wrestler on the planet was booed by fans and that those boos were replaced by cheers on television.
Another person has claimed that the former Universal Champion had to wait a minute and a half to start his promo because he was being booed. That was obviously edited out of the version of RAW that aired on TV and it seems a heel turn for Rollins is long overdue at this point.
