Saturday Night's Main Event was originally broadcast by WWE on NBC from 1985 to 1992, occasionally replacing Saturday Night Live in its late-night timeslot throughout the year.
Ratings declined in the 90s and the show moved to FOX before being scrapped. Following a short-lived revival in 2006, it was again discontinued in 2008 before the branding was used for WWE house shows in 2022 for a brief spell to boost ticket sales.
The show makes its true return tomorrow evening, though, and will air on NBC at 8pm ET/5pm PT. Saturday Night's Main Event will also stream on Peacock in the U.S. In the UK, it will be shown on WWE's official YouTube channel at 1am GMT and on the WWE Network globally.

Much to the delight of longtime pro wrestling fans, Jesse "The Body" Ventura will return to WWE as a commentator for the show. The WWE Hall of Famer and former Minnesota Governor was asked about that during a recent interview.
"Handcuffs are off, I can say anything I want about anyone," Ventura teased. "I am, I’m very excited about it. I don’t discuss finances, but it’s acceptable and I’ll be doing four a year."
WWE recently shared the following video for the event with the prevailing theory being that Cody Rhodes will finally get to don the iconic Winged Eagle title as he makes his way to the ring for his match with KO.
Be sure to check back here on Saturday evening for the results from the event as they happen.
