WWE has shared a preview of tonight's episode of SmackDown, and while only two segments have been announced ahead of time, one of them should be more than enough to entice viewers to tune in.

Cody Rhodes will challenge Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania following his recent Royal Rumble win, and The American Nightmare will finally come face-to-face with the Tribal Chief for the first time tonight.

This angle has a lot more to it than just a title match feud, with the other members of Roman's Bloodline in turmoil following Sami Zayn's betrayal and Jimmy Uso unsure of where his brother Jey's loyalties lie.

Throw Solo Sikoa and Kevin Owens into the mix, and this is one confrontation no WWE fan is going to want to miss.

We also have a match between former tag-team partners Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley. Expect the Judgement Day's Eradicator to pick up a fairly easy victory here as she heads into her SmackDown Women's title match against Charlotte Flair at 'Mania.

A few standout moments aside, both Raw and SmackDown have been lacking in recent weeks, so let's hope things pick up a bit as we continue down the road to WrestleMania.
