Preview & Predictions for WWE SmackDown:
On tap for tonight's Halloween-themed episode, Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn defends his championship against United States Champion Trick Williams. With Zayn scheduled to face World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel on November 7, the outcome could have major implications for WWE's upcoming Champion vs Champion showdown.
WWE Women's Champion Chelsea Green puts her championship on the line against Nikki Bella. Green is scheduled to face Women's World Champion Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel, but must first survive another title defense.
AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix also defends his championship against Ricky Saints. Their rivalry continues following previous championship encounters, while Fenix enters the match after his originally scheduled Heroes Inmortales defense against Mini Vikingo was canceled due to Vikingo's injury.
Danhausen serves as the host of the special "Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown" presentation. Gunther has also announced that he will appear and do something special for Danhausen after expressing his dislike of Halloween and the attention being given to his rival. No match between Gunther and Danhausen has been officially confirmed.
I have no idea what WWE has in store for the Danhausen and Gunther stuff. If you had told me that The Ring General would retire Goldberg, AJ Styles, and John Cena, only to then be in a comedic feud against Danhausen, I would have been incredibly confused and I still am.
I obviously do not expect Sami Zayn or Chelsea Green to drop their titles. While I also assume Rey Fenix will retain his cruiserweight title, I don't think that's as much of a guarantee as the other two, but considering how much they decided to put on the idea of him defending it in the future against Mini Vikingo (who is currently injured), I just assume Fenix has at least a 60%, if not more, chance at beating Ricky Saints.
Here are your results for WWE SmackDown - October 30, 2026:
- Danhausen welcomed viewers to his Halloween-themed SmackDown with a black-and-white video from his laboratory. He ran through the advertised title matches and teased a secret experiment, showing a covered body on a gurney.
- Several arrivals were shown, including Sami Zayn meeting with Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae, Trick Williams accompanied by Lil Yachty, and Chelsea Green and Nikki Bella preparing for their championship match.
- Cody Rhodes came to the ring to discuss his upcoming Last Man Standing Match against Randy Orton. He reminded everyone of the punt kick Orton delivered to him at WrestleMania, displaying a photograph of the damage to his face. Rhodes apologized to Orton's family and supporters for what he intended to do at Crown Jewel, saying he would repay Orton for what happened.
- Cathy Kelley spoke with Chelsea Green and Tiffany Stratton backstage. Green wore Nikki Bella's old ring gear as a Halloween costume and looked ahead to facing Liv Morgan at Crown Jewel. Stratton remained determined to cash in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan. Danhausen appeared after Green left and attempted to acquire Stratton's briefcase by offering her a jar of teeth, which she refused.
- WWE Women's Championship: Chelsea Green (c) defeated Nikki Bella by pinfall to retain the title. Bella connected with the Rack Attack but accidentally pulled Green into the ropes while attempting the pin. Green immediately caught her with a small package for the three-count. Liv Morgan confronted Green afterward, calling her a joke of a champion and promising to defeat her at Crown Jewel. Tiffany Stratton interrupted but was attacked by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. Green knocked Morgan down with the Un-Pretty-Her, and Stratton followed with the Prettiest Moonsault Ever before attempting to cash in her Money in the Bank contract. Rodriguez and Perez stopped the cash-in, bringing out IYO SKY to help Green and Stratton clear the ring.
- Sami Zayn dismissed Trick Williams during an interview with Cathy Kelley, arguing that Williams hadn't earned his accomplishments the way Zayn had. He spoke about overcoming years of setbacks and criticism to become WWE Champion, insisting that Williams would not take the championship from him before Crown Jewel.
- Blake Monroe declared that her victory over Giulia had cleared the way for her to pursue the WWE Women's Championship. Paige interrupted the interview and challenged Monroe's claim that she was ready for a world title opportunity. Monroe responded by mocking how long ago Paige was at the top of the women's division, leading to another exchange of insults between the two.
- AAA World Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Fenix (c) defeated Ricky Saints by pinfall to retain the title. Saints scored several near falls, including one following a Death Valley Driver, before Fenix countered another Revolution DDT attempt and eventually connected with the Mexican Muscle Buster for the win.
- Jade Cargill and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions B-Fab and Michin were discussing their recent title victory with Cathy Kelley when Fatal Influence approached them. Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid accused the champions of using the same tactics as their group and suggested they still had plenty to learn. B-Fab and Michin wanted to fight, but Cargill restrained them.
- Trick Williams claimed that Sami Zayn was hiding behind the WWE Championship and reminded Cathy Kelley that he had already defeated Zayn twice. Williams planned to leave SmackDown with another title and move on to Roman Reigns. After the interview, Lil Yachty noticed a room marked "Top Secret" and went inside, where Danhausen showed him a revived zombie Gingerbread Man. Yachty quickly fled.
- Jade Cargill defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall with Jaded. Alexa Bliss accompanied Paxley, while WWE Women's Tag Team Champions B-Fab and Michin were in Cargill's corner. B-Fab pulled Paxley off the apron during the match, leading to Bliss diving onto B-Fab from the ring steps. Michin attacked Bliss, but Paxley fought her off before returning to the ring. Cargill caught Paxley with a pump kick and followed with Jaded for the victory.
- Damian Priest expressed frustration over Trick Williams receiving another opportunity at the WWE Championship while he continued to be overlooked. He also blamed R-Truth for the problems he had experienced recently. Nathan Frazer and Axiom confronted Priest about his actions against Truth, and Frazer said he wanted a match with Priest. Priest warned them that he wasn't in the mood to be challenged and walked away, leaving Frazer and Axiom arguing over the confrontation.
- Danhausen's Halloween experiment was interrupted when Gunther attacked him on the stage and powerbombed him through a table. Gunther brought Danhausen to the ring, where the cloning machine produced a group of Minihausens. Gunther fought them off with kicks, pumpkins and a powerbomb through another table. Danhausen then cursed Gunther, prompting The Demon Finn Balor to rise from the covered gurney. Balor attacked Gunther, sent him through a table with a shotgun dropkick and continued the assault at ringside. The Demon climbed a ladder and delivered a Coup de Grace that drove Gunther through the announce table.
- WWE aired a video package advertising the No Holds Barred Match between CM Punk and Kevin Owens scheduled for the November 6 episode of SmackDown.
- No Disqualification Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship: Sami Zayn (c) defeated Trick Williams by pinfall to retain the title. The original match ended in a disqualification when Johnny Gargano pulled the referee out of the ring to stop Williams from winning after a Book End. Nick Aldis refused to let the championship match end that way, restarting it with No Disqualification rules and removing Gargano, Candice LeRae and Lil Yachty from ringside. Williams took advantage of the new rules with a kendo stick and later connected with the Trick Shot, but Zayn kicked out. Zayn also survived several other close calls and hit a Blue Thunder Bomb onto a chair. When Williams picked up the championship belt, Zayn used the referee as a shield before delivering a low blow. Zayn then struck Williams with the belt and pinned him to retain the title. The result officially confirmed Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.
