WWE Superstar Bayley Offers An Update On Her Injury; Hopes To Return To Action Within "A Few Months"
Some fans thought Bayley's shoulder injury might have been part of an angle, but we now know differently. In a new interview, The Huggable One offers an update, and a rough estimation of when she might be back.
Poor Bayley hasn't had the best time of things lately. The former WWE Women's Champion was just coming off a period of inexplicably awful booking and was beginning to build some momentum leading into her title match against Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam, when she injured her shoulder in a match with Nia Jax.
At first, a lot of people thought this might be the start of some kind of angle that would eventually see her turning heel on Sasha banks, but we now know that wasn't the case.
During an interview with PW Insider, Bayley reveals that the injury is actually worse than she had initially thought, and could keep her out of action for several months.
"I just started physical therapy," said Bayley. "So, for right now, I've never had an injury before that's kept me out before, so I'm kind of taking it day to day. I'm not really sure how long [she will be out of action]...it it's a couple of months or if it's a few months of what's it going to be right now. But, it's separated, it's a grade-two separation. It's like the AC joint and the ligaments and all that stuff, so it's not easy."
We wish Bayley a speedy recovery, and let's hope the writers have some better things planned for her upon her return.
