According to PWInsider, Rey Mysterio vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in the non-title World Cup qualifier match was originally set to open the show. The company decided to go with the TruthTV segment involving Vince McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon instead. There was no reason given for why those segments were changed.

The Undertaker was always scheduled to close the show but it was originally planned to go longer. WWE cut time from that segment when the show ran long. They also cut time from Mysterio vs. Nakamura, and Mysterio's ring entrance.

The company also cut several backstage segments from the show, including one with James Ellsworth, who ended up appearing in a WWE YouTube video instead.
