At AEW Full Gear this Saturday, Kenny Omega will defend his AEW World Championship in a long-awaited match against "Hangman" Adam Page. The hope among fans is that he's finally going to be dethroned, and last night's AEW Dynamite was headlined by a contract signing.
The two men exchanged harsh words (you can check those out in the videos below), but Omega appeared to extend an olive branch when he shook Page's hand. However, after one final shot, Page was laid out by a cameraman...Don Callis! With blood pouring from his head, Omega used that to sign his part of the contract moments before the show ended.
It was one heck of a visual to end the night on, and it's clear Omega is heading into AEW Full Gear in heel mode.
Whoever walks away with the title on Saturday night will know who their next opponent is, though, as the PPV is also set to feature Bryan Danielson vs. Miro in a #1 contender's match.
