AEW Star Skye Blue Reacts To Viral Video Of Her Butt Receiving Just Shy Of 13 Million Views

Earlier this year, a video of Skye Blue went viral due to its focus on her butt. Now, the AEW star has weighed on that and whether she feels objectified by fans who obsess over certain parts of her body.

There are a lot of beautiful women in the world of professional wrestling and while there's nothing wrong with admiring these talented athletes from afar, some fans get a tad...obsessive.

A video recently went viral of someone recording another attendee at a wrestling event using their cell phone to zoom into a female wrestler's butt to capture a video for the sake of posterity (we'd assume). It's a little weird, but back in July, a fan account shared a video of AEW star Skye Blue doing her thing in the ring, albeit with a focus on her undeniably eye-catching derrière.

The video has racked up just shy of 13 million views, well over 13x the weekly viewership of AEW's flagship show, Dynamite

During a recent interview with Alicia Atout, Blue was asked for her thoughts on being objectified in this way and admits it no longer bothers her as much as it once did. In fact, it sounds like she saw the funny side of her impressive physique receiving so much love online.

"I’ve gotten to the point where I just - when I was younger, I hated it," she explains. "I was like, ‘Can I say I’m underage and get you in trouble?’ And then people found out how old I was."

"But at this point, now I’m just like - when the Daily Loud thing went up, I had no idea. Kyle was the one that found it. He’s like, 'You have 12 million views!' I was like, 'What do you mean? I didn’t do anything...' So then this smart ass, he had shared it with my Patreon [group] and then it really blew up. I was like, 'Oh. OK! I’m going to keep doing it!'"

"At this point, I’m like, it is what it is. We all work very hard to look like what we look like," Blue added. "It’s like, at least if you’re going to stare at it, you could help me and show support' [Laughs]."

It's good to know this hasn't upset the AEW star in any way, especially as there's no denying this sort of thing can verge on being creepy. You can check out the viral video (it's pretty tame) and the full interview below.
