The viewership numbers are in for both NXT and All Elite Wrestling: Dynamite this past Wednesday. Both shows dropped in terms of total viewers, and in the 18 - 49 demographic, though it's not clear what led to that being the case.

Ultimately, it was Dynamite which won the day with 792,000 viewers compared to NXT's 619,000 viewers. This is a noteworthy decline from last Wednesday when Dynamite drew 901,000 viewers compared to NXT's 753,000 viewers. As is so often the case, AEW emerged victorious in terms of the 18 - 49 demographic with a 0.32 compared to last week's 0.36.

NXT ranked #65 among the top 150 shows, whereas Dynamite was #9. Because NXT didn't make the top 50, demographic details aren't available for the WWE show. Ultimately, Dynamite was probably the better show, but NXT has the advantage next week as the AEW show won't be airing live due to the NBA.

Here is the demographic breakdown:

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.32 / NXT: 0.16
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.26 / NXT: NA
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.38 / NXT: NA
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.18 / NXT: NA
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.15 / NXT: NA
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.17 / NXT: NA
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.39 / NXT: NA
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.26 / NXT: NA
