CM Punk Pretty Much Confirms Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson Is Heading To AEW During DYNAMITE Debut

After his explosive AEW debut during last Friday's episode of Rampage, CM Punk made his first appearance on Dynamite last night. The Best in the World stepped into the ring for a brief interview with Tony Schiavone to hype his match against Darby Allin at All Out, and when he started asking himself some questions, a "YES!" chant broke out in the crowd.

A smile spread across the former WWE Champion's face, and he responded: "That's somebody else's schtick and you might just need to be a little bit more patient."

Needless to say, that's a pretty obvious reference to the rumours Daniel Bryan/Bryan Danielson is also heading to AEW. It's been said that he'll debut for the company at a show in New York next month, and if so, that's two huge names WWE has lost to the competition that could really help further turn the tide in AEW's favour.

It's previously been reported that Bryan tried to get WWE to give him the freedom to compete in countries like Mexico and Japan, but they were having none of it. A deal with AEW will give the Leader of the Yes Movement the sort of freedom he desired, and it now seems like an inevitability.

Check out a clip from last night's AEW Dynamite, and another tease from Punk, below:
